As part of our 10 year celebration, we have taken up the initiative of “Film Production by Women Filmmakers of Bangladesh”. Our first production of this year-long program is titled 'Muntasir'. This gripping web series explores the lives of individuals who are caught in a web of mystery and suspense. 'MUNTASIR' is the story of gender equality syndrome towards the deficits of Masculine rights, an untold taboo in the society.
ABOUT THE FILM: MUNTASIR
"Muntasir" goes against gender discrimination and is a story of sexual abuse of men and boys. By sexual harassment or abuse, we mean women or girls being abused, but there is truth beyond that. Along with women, men also admit to torture. No one dares to break the social debut. In the story of "Muntasir", we want to understand men as human beings. Men, like women, have experiences of sexual harassment, trauma. "Muntasir" is the story of sexual harassment that has no gender.
"Muntasir" is a webfilm written and directed by Iffat Jahan Mom. Robi's OTT is going to be released on the platform "Binge" on 19th November on "Men's Day". This web film is composed and sung by Arafatul Hasan Shanto of Butter Studio.
Shatabdi Wadud, Ashok Bepari, Elina Shammi, Iqbal Hossain, Sharif Siraj, Manoj Pramanik, Farhana Hamid, Shahzada Samrat Chowdhury, Tauhidul Taif, Nusaifa, Hasibul Hasan Nibir and many others have acted.
Muntasir” is the first web film directed by director Iffat Jahan Mom.
