PROFESSIONAL DIPLOMA PROGRAM

The Professional Diploma Programs at the Asian Institute of Media and Communication Bangladesh (AIMC) are designed to provide intensive, hands-on training across various fields of media and communication. Each program is structured over one year, divided into three academic terms followed by a final term dedicated to a comprehensive, real-world project. Throughout the year, students engage in rigorous coursework, with each term comprising a minimum of 12 credits. The final term is focused on a significant 12-credit project, allowing students to apply their learning in a professional setting.

In total, the diploma program encompasses 39 credits, offering a well-rounded education that combines creativity with industry-relevant skills. Term 1:

2.              Creative Concept Development (4 Credits)

Techniques for brainstorming and developing creative advertising concepts.

 

3.              Copywriting for Advertising (4 Credits)

Crafting compelling copy that captures attention and drives action.

 

Term 2:

 

4.              Art Direction and Visual Communication (4 Credits)

Designing visual elements for advertising, including layouts, typography, and imagery.

 

5.              Media Planning and Buying (4 Credits)

Strategies for selecting and purchasing media space to maximize campaign impact.

 

6.              Digital Advertising (4 Credits)

Advertising in the digital space, including social media, search engines, and online display ads.

 

Term 3:

 

7.              Advertising Campaign Management (4 Credits)

Planning, executing, and monitoring comprehensive advertising campaigns.

 

8.              Branding and Identity Design (4 Credits)

Creating and maintaining brand identity through consistent advertising efforts.

 

9.              Advertising Research and Analytics (4 Credits)

Using data and research to inform and evaluate advertising campaigns.

 

Term 4:

 

10.           Final Advertising Campaign Project (12 Credits) –

 

A comprehensive project where students develop and present a full advertising campaign, from concept to execution.
