What You Will Learn in This Course
Welcome to this course that aims to introduce you to the essential requirements of writing, reporting, and presenting news in a modern media organization. In this course, you will learn about the elements of good quality journalism, the general rules of news writing, the art of conducting news interviews, and the different components that make up a news story. Course Aims
This course is designed to equip you with the essential skills and knowledge required for news writing, reporting, and news presentation. It aims to introduce you to the basics of writing and reporting for both print and broadcast media. In addition to this, the course also focuses on developing your specialized and advanced writing and reporting skills that are specifically required for the print media industry.
However, the significance of this course doesn't end there. Apart from the primary objectives, it also has a secondary but crucial aim of providing you with an overview of the legal and ethical requirements that are essential for a successful career in the media industry, particularly in Bangladesh. This course will help you develop a thorough understanding of the preliminary legal and ethical norms that need to be followed for a healthy and prosperous career in the media industry.

Razibul Hossain is an Independent Filmmaker, Cinematographer, Producer, Editor and an Educator from Bangladesh. He made three fictional feature films BALUGHORI (The Sand Clock - 2006), UNADITTYA (Less than Sun God - 2008), and HRIDOYER RONGDHONU (Life in Rainbow - 2017); one feature documentary MRITTU PAREY BARI (Life in the Shores of Death - 2012) and a short film Me and The Nature - 2013.
Razibul is the Founder and Chairman of Asian Institute of Media and Communication – Bangladesh (AIMC). In his professional career, he worked in different Universities, TV stations, Advertisement agency and NGO's.
